Kicks 2008 Summer Camp
June 23 –June 27, 2008 
Location: Huntsville High School
Camp Fee: $125 per player/ $100 if postmarked by June 4

Kicks Futbol Club is offering Summer Camp for all ages between 5 and 18. Each player will be placed in an fun, energetic, and competitive learning environment. The camp will focus on technical and tactical training ending each day with tournament play with the goal to improve player’s soccer skills.  As the world counts down to the 2008 Olympics, throughout the camp players will participate in world cup games based on the national teams competing for Olympic gold.

The age appropriate curriculum is designed by Director of Coaching Mo Khodabandeh The coaching staff will include Peter Byrahunga, former MLS player and Herbert Tamale, Ugandan National Team Player, along with other current Kicks FC professional coaches that include collegiate, professional and National team players from around the world.

The Kicks Futbol Club provides the finest area soccer camp experience for players of every level.

 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Campers are welcome to bring sports drinks however the camp will provide plenty of fluids as well as pop-up tents and a misting fan to keep them from overheating.  If you have any questions, problems or comments concerning the Summer Camp, please contact us.

Mo Khodabandeh - Camp Director

Coach Mo is a former UAH charger midfielder who led the team in assists in 1987. He is one of the founders of the Kicks and currently serves as the Director of Coaching for the club. He has over 20 years of experience in all level of coaching including college, high school and club. He has won 7 AYSA state title with 5 different teams. Mo was the Huntsville Times 2002 High School coach of the year where his Bob Jones team finished 3rd in the state (Strongest finish ever in the BJHS Boys soccer history).

Peter Byrahunga – Camp Trainer
Peter Byrahunga is one of Huntsville’s most sought after individual skills trainer for his great understanding of soccer as well as his talent for teaching and motivating players. Previously he played for the MLS Kansas City Wizards after attending college at Martin Methodist College. He has worked at camps across the Southeast including the UAB Blazers Camp. Once at the top of his game, Peter is now working his way back from difficult times and Kicks is pleased to support and surround him with a team of coaches and managers as he rediscovers his passion and talent for soccer.

Herbert Tamale – Camp Trainer
Coach Tamale is a former UAH defensive leader and most recently coached U16 and U14 boys and U12 girls. He was a member of the Ugandan U17 national team. While at UAH earned Best Defenseman honors on the All Gulf-South Conference Team three times and All Gulf Conference Tournament Team two times.
